WHAT YOU’LL FIND INSIDE

See Where MICE InquiriesLose Momentum

The study follows a realistic event inquiry from submission through commercial response, measuring what happens across response, speed, pricing and follow-up.

01

Response coverage

How many inquiries receive a commercial response.

02

Response speed

How quickly hotel chains react to incoming demand.

03

Pricing behaviour

Whether the inquiry progresses to an actual commercial proposal.

04

Follow-up behaviour

What happens after the first reply and whether the commercial conversation continues.

05

Response by chain size

See how response behaviour varies across different hotel-chain structures.

06

Email vs web forms

Compare response behaviour across the two inquiry routes tested.

METHODOLOGY

A Consistent Inquiry.Measured from Submissionto Follow-up.

Benvio sends a standardised MICE inquiry through the inquiry route provided by each hotel chain. The request contains realistic event requirements and explicitly asks for availability and pricing.

The study measures the commercial journey that follows, including response, elapsed time, pricing and follow-up.

The sample continues to expand and the results are recalculated as new observations are added.

Latest results: July 2026

Where commercial process breaks

See the difference between replying, pricing and actively pursuing the opportunity.
